Can Claude do Pinterest keyword research?
Claude can explain and plan from PinTool research after you connect your PinTool account. PinTool supplies Pinterest keyword, related-search and public-profile data; Claude helps turn it into content decisions.
Can I use PinTool with ChatGPT?
Yes, through a compatible custom MCP connection. Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace permissions. Full custom MCP support is currently aimed at Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces; Claude is the simpler option for most individual PinTool customers.
Does AI research use my PinTool quota?
Yes. PinTool research allowance is shared between the web app and a connected AI, so your activity stays under one plan and one account. PinTool also paces research calls to prevent an AI from spending an entire allowance in one request.
Does Claude or ChatGPT get my Pinterest password?
No. PinTool does not ask for your Pinterest password. You approve a revocable OAuth connection to your own PinTool account, and you can remove that connection later from Settings.
