Terms of Service

1. Service

PinTool is a Pinterest SEO research tool. You can use it to look up Pinterest keyword data, analyze public Pinterest profiles, and track keywords over time.

2. Account & eligibility

You must be 16+ and provide a valid email address. One person, one account. You're responsible for keeping your password safe — we use bcrypt-hashed passwords and never store them in plain text.

Creating an account requires you to accept these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. The separate choice to receive product updates and offers is optional; accepting these Terms does not subscribe you to marketing emails or authorize any future sale of personal information.

3. Plans & billing

• Free — 2 searches per day + 1 Profile Analyzer scan per day. No card required.
• Starter — $12/month — 100 keyword searches / month, 30 Profile Analyzer scans / month, keyword tracking, all 12 regions.
• Pro — $29/month — unlimited keyword research + unlimited Profile Analyzer for normal professional use, auto-discovered competitors, email alerts on movements.

Paid plans renew automatically (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you chose) until you cancel from Settings or the Stripe Customer Portal. You can downgrade at any time and keep access until the end of the current period.

“Unlimited” means you can carry out normal professional research without a fixed monthly credit cap. To keep PinTool reliable for everyone, we apply fair-use safeguards to unusually rapid, automated, or bulk activity. These safeguards may temporarily pace a request or ask you to continue later; they do not reduce your plan or remove your normal research access.

4. Refunds

We don't offer refunds. Instead, the free plan (2 keyword searches a day and 1 Profile Analyzer scan a day, no credit card) lets you fully evaluate PinTool before you pay. You can cancel a paid plan at any time and keep access until the end of the current billing period. If something went wrong with a charge, email patrick@pintool.io and we'll look into it.

5. Acceptable use

Don't try to bypass rate limits or fair-use safeguards, scrape PinTool itself, share your account, or use the tool to violate Pinterest's own terms. AI connections are designed for deliberate, user-directed research — not unattended loops, bulk extraction, or attempts to generate large volumes of proxy traffic. We may pace, restrict, or suspend abusive activity to protect the service and other customers.

6. Pinterest data

PinTool surfaces publicly available Pinterest data through Pinterest's official APIs and through publicly readable endpoints. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. Pinterest is a registered trademark of Pinterest, Inc.

7. Liability

The service is provided as-is. We do our best, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that the data we surface is 100% accurate at every moment (Pinterest's own data fluctuates). Our maximum liability is the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

8. Termination

You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We can terminate accounts violating these terms. Your data is purged within 30 days of deletion.
